At the 2025 Student Veterans of America (SVA), National Convention (NATCON) in Colorado Springs, CO, January 2-4, 2025, ´óÏó´«Ã½ was proudly one of only four nationwide universities selected to receive a SVA Chapter Award for Volunteer Service. Julio Llorenty, Veteran Owl, SVA Member, VA Federal Work Study Student, U.S. Army Veteran and Millie Rivera, Veteran Owl, SVA Member, U.S. Army Veteran and current National Guard member were further distinguished with individual SVA Volunteer Service Awards. With SVA members both in and out of uniform, Veteran Owls are truly extraordinary ambassadors of Florida Atlantic. Congratulations!
